Marcelo Usseglio studied chemical engineering at the National Technological University in Buenos Aires and received his PhD in engineering from the National University of La Plata. He is passionate about translating real world of renewable processes into simulation models to optimize and to design processes, aiming to reduce both OpEx and CapEx. After 15 years of experience in vegetable oil refining, both in operations and in engineering, he has developed rigorous process simulation models to be used in process optimization tasks.
